Liverpool Skipper, Steven Gerrard Arrested !
I was like 'What the heck? Steven Gerrard arrested?' as I was reading the newspaper in the evening. Just a month ago, there was an article on Steven Gerrard entitled....
'Down To Earth'
That article states that Steven Gerrard's specialities are being humble, calm, a good leader..etc. I wasn't suprised because he is really humble, leads by example, motivates his teamates and so on.
I guess that was just part of him. He got arrested yesterday in a club for whacking the Club DJ. There are rumours that the DJ was set upon after refusing to allow Gerrard and his company free-reign over the club's music. The Club DJ required 4 stitches on his head and lost a tooth. Ouch!
I doubt he'll get to play for Liverpool for the next few games and this may affect the club's performance. Whatmore, Arsene Wenger [coach of Arsenal] told he wants to buy Xabi Alonso this January which means no Gerrard no Alonso. BIG problem in midfield strength, freekicks and penalties.

A Late Birthday Present
It's 1 and a half months since my birthday, suprisingly my sis got me a present last few days when she came back from Melaka. It's a model of the ultra exclusive Lamborghini Reventon. This is my 1st proper car model [excluding the Ferrari models from
Shell- I find them a little plasticky].
This model is quite detailed and the colour is Matte Black. Here are some pictures~!

It's Gajendheran or in short Gajen !
My full name is Gajendheran Nadaesan. Short name is Gajen. However, when people ask me my full name I'll normally say Gajendheran.
80% of my friends call me Gajen, 18% calls me Gajendheran, 1% calls me Gaje, 0.5% calls me Jen and another 0.5% calls me with funny names [ Gayjen, Gaj, Gajennn....n, Beaver, Ballack, Prefect, etc] haha
Now, the pronunciation part...Gajen I'll pronounce it as Geh-Jen [ Geh as in Geh not Gayh lol ]. Most people are unable to pronounce as I always do and they end up saying GAY-JEN. Sounds gay as well, LOL.
If the person goes 'Sorry how do you pronounce that again?'. Then I'll say Gajen as in Gah-Jen [ Gajen like BM suku kata haha ]. Most people will be able to pronounce Gajen as in Gah-Jen because sounds like a BM word.
Spelling is an issue too especially the back of my name. Many will spell Gajendheran as Gajendran because Gajendran is how my name is pronounced.
Complicated huh? Haha check out these pictures...Enjoy!
Wrong! haha
The other 2 are correct

The Day The Earth Stood Still - Movie Review

As you've heard, many have said that the movie 'The Day The Earth Stood Still' isn't good. Why? I'm not too sure what are their reasons but there are definately due to 'too much of fantasy stuff', very draggy and boring.
Well, here's my point of view. If you haven't watched the movie and you're planning to watch because of the graphics/effects, then I'm afraid there's nothing special. If you're planning to watch the movie because of the storyline and the meaning of the movie, then be my guest, go ahead.
In my opinion, it's a great movie. Something I never realise throughout my whole life until I watched this movie. It's about an alien [Keanu Reeves] invading the earth to destroy we humans. If the humans die, the earth survives. If the humans don't die, the earth may die [However Keanu Reeves claims in the movie 'if the humans don't die, the earth dies']
Without any doubt, I totally agree with that. Here's an example. Look at Maldives, in another 100-200 years it may be gone due to the rising sea water level. In fact, the President is buying land from India and Sri Lanka so that residents can rebuild their lives just in case. All these is because of us, Human Beings...Global Warming.
That was only 1 example, there are plenty more. Overall, this is one of Keanu Reeve's best movies. Can you think of any other of his movies that's better than this? Erm...Matrix is a definate no although I'm a big fan haha..maybe Speed.
However this movie is good. I'll rate it an 8/10.Have a nice day!
*Psstt...Jennifer Connelly is damn hot..another reason why you should watch haha*

Langkawi Trip 2008
A week ago, my friends and I went to Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights. We went there by ferry and the ride isn't as pleasant as you think.Firstly, it's kind of dark in there.Secondly, it's mother freaking noisy.Thirdly, you can't recline the seats back.Anyway, it is not a Star Cruise...so 'boleh tahan la' lol
After 3 solid hours, we were at the Langkawi Jetty. We rented 2 Iswara sedans as there were 10 of us.We bargained from RM280 till RM220 for 2 Iswaras for 50 hours [2 days+2hours].So it's RM 55 perday for a Proton Iswara. We stayed at Langkawi Boutique Resort located at Pantai Cenang.
The hotel was satisfactory only. The front of the hotel wasn't really inviting as it was super dark. The best part was, the hall had a tiny Christmas tree [only as big as a 6-year old boy, not jk] but the platform supporting the Christmas tree was 3/4 the size of a badminton court.Haha.Everyone was like laughing away.It also has an 'Oasis Pool'.Sounds interesting but the water was green in colour.Lol.
On the 1st night, we went to Enigma Club.Nothing much as it was kind of boring, reminded me of attending Malaysian Studies class.2nd day,we went to the animal farm at the cable car place but decided not to go for the cable car as we had to wait for an hour. After that, we headed back to the hotel for a swim before going to the beach.
At the beach, we wanted to go for jet ski but was way too expensive.RM 110 for 30 minutes. So in the end, Banana Boat it was.It was certainly worth the RM15 as the boat 'capsized' 3 times [4 times for Buvan and Amardeep Haha].
The last day...We went to the cable car at 1015am [opens at 1000am].It was Rm 15 if I'm not mistaken. If you're a first timer, then it's certainly worth the money. The view was spectacular [705 meters above sea-level].For a couple of seconds, I felt like Gandalf in Rohan.Lol.
After that, we went to Telaja Tujuh [ 7-wells ].We had to hike in the beginning which we didn't quite like although it was only a 10 minute hike.Haha.This is what happens when you don't exercise regularly. Was it worth the 10 minute hike? Oh yes...the water was rejuvenating.Despite the scorching heat, the water was extremely cold as it is fresh from the mountain. The boulders were so smooth because they were constantly eroded by the sturdy current from time to time. Therefore, it has a slide built by mother nature but designed by father nature.Trust me, your back won't hurt when you slide.
Before leaving, we bought liquor and chocolates.I bought RM 80 worth of chocolates.=)
Overall, it was one of the best trips ever and I doubt there'll be another trip as much as 10 of us because most of us will be in universities next year.Have a nice day~!

Honda Quits Formula One

Last 2 days, while I was watching the news, I was seriously stunned when I heard Honda will be selling its F1 team due to Global Economic Crisis. It's been over 40 historical years since Honda stepped in into Formula One in the year 1963.
Back then, years ago, I still remember watching F1 for the first time and my brother said 'look at this F1 car, has the mouth of a shark...it's Jordan Honda' and yeah, I quite liked that car as it had an angry face.I did like BAR Honda as well.
I hope by quitting F1, this doesn't affect their development in their upcoming NSX.

Sony PSP 3000

2 months ago, Sony has launched their latest version of the PSP called the PSP 3000.However, the PSP 3000 hasn't arrived here yet [Sony outlets in Malaysia].Certain shops are selling the PSP 3000 though but at a steep price, +-RM900. [only the console]
Last month, I bought the PSP 3000 in Singapore at S$289.After conversion, it's only RM693.That's a huge bargain compared to RM900.All together with the accessories and games, the total was S$ 460.That includes 2 original games [God Of War and GTA Vice City Stories], 4 GB Sony Memory Pro Duo high-speed card, usb cable, crystal case, screen protector, strap, headphones and screen cloth.
Additional features on PSP 3000 compared to PSP 2000[Sim and Lite]
-5X better Contrast
-Brighter and clearer LCD screen
[If played using the brightest display settings, battery life will reduce from 6.5 to 6 hours]
[Doesn't matter much because you will only use the brigthest display in certain occasions.Eg outdoor during daytime]
-Anti-glare screen
[This feature is virtually useless because most PSP owners will put on the screen protector and becomes glary again]
-Built-in microphone
[Comes with Skype Programme]
-New PS Home button
[Similiar to PS3's Dualshock 3]
-Slightly higher positioned Analog
[Better precision during gameplay]
-Thinner chrome ring (rear of the console)
[Sleeker looks I guess]
~Pros
-Best handheld gaming console in the market
-Graphics as good as PS2
-Watch movies
-Can be played on large screen [Normal/LCD TV] using AV/S-video cable
-Listen to MP3s
-Go online
-Portable
~Cons
-Skype-Can't chat but only talk
-Speakers not loud enough
-Difficult to type
-No touch screen
-No MAC version of PSP Media Manager
~Tips
-If you're getting one, get the High-speed Sony Memory Pro Duo card [has a red bar on the card].Most of sellers will offer you the normal Sony Memory Pro Duo which isn't as fast as the high-speed version especially when you're playing games/movies from your memory card.
-It's a must to get a PSP pouch, screen protector, crystal casing [the surface of the console is very glossy, therefore it's slippery] and a strap [so that it doesn't fall]
-If you have a PSP 1000/2000, this PSP 3000 is just a facelift version which has minor upgrades. Therefore, it's advisable not to change to this version.
-If you're not sure whether to get Nintendo DSi or PSP 3000, well it depends on you actually. In my opinion, the PSP beats the DS anytime when it comes to graphics, gameplay and so on. PSP has also wider and better variety of games. Not that the DS is not good but as a handheld gaming console, the PSP 3000 is curently the best in the market.

Overall Verdict : 9/10
